Welcome to St. Luke's,Oakhanger

St Luke's is a small friendly traditional church serving the small village of Oakhanger and its surrounding area.

We are part of the parish of Christ Church, Alsager and are committed to working very closely with Oakhanger Methodist Church. Our tradition is evangelical and our services have a traditional village feel, but with modern elements -in a friendly but worshipful atmosphere.

We meet in a quaint building that was a former schoolhouse. It seats about 50 worshippers and is within walking distance of the whole village.
From February 2009, all services in Oakhanger will be joint Anglican/Methodist. They will all be at 6.30pm in St Luke's on the first and third Sundays each month. Communion on the first Sunday. We are trying this for a year and will use both Anglican and Methodist service patterns.
You are very welcome whether you consider yourself a Methodist, Anglican, another denomination or none.
